Level 7 Salon + Artist Collective was established to meet the demand for independence from artists within the beauty industry. The intent was to create a space where Artists could bring their brand & vision into existence. Our mutual goal is to create an atmosphere all clients feel welcomed in, where conversations between strangers flow, and our guests leave as a more confident version of their authentic selves. Integrity in our work, passion for our craft and education for ourselves and for you, are the fundamentals of the Artist Collective. Ensuring our Artists can create their best life, create their own balance, push personal and industry boundaries, and create a life they truly feel fulfilled in, ensures that We are the best version of ourselves for You. 

Level 7 Salon Artist Collective was created to fill a void in the traditional salon model in our industry. After moving to Calgary in 2015,  Anne Marie was fired from a job she hadn't yet started as she couldn't commit to normal hours while raising her family.  She worked at 2 other salons in the city where limitations and specific working hours were in place. Struggling to find her balance within the restrictive constraints of the traditional salon models, she left.

With a background in visual arts & no business degree she took a blind leap and moved into a private studio which gave her zero choice but to learn, adapt, network & source all ‘her people’. In the spring of 2019 after viewing 10 commercial spaces and being turned down multiple times as no one could grasp her out of the box business model - Anthem Properties said yes.

She signed her life away to 226 Riverfront Ave SW and committed to opening a salon with 0 staff, & Level 7 Salon Artist Collective was established.

We are a committed independent team who share the same vision for our careers and lives, and we don’t fit the typical industry standards. Our passion to create, need for connection, commitment to education + growth and our desire for 100% autonomy to create + live our lives our way, have brought all of us all Independently Together. 

Collectively we have over 80 years experience. 

We made our own box.
